What is Solace No.1?
Solace No.1 is a cabin interior mist — a car cleaner first, with a considered scent second. It lifts dirt, odour, and surface residue from your car's interior surfaces, then leaves a soft, fresh scent behind. It's built to clean properly, not to mask smells.
Is it a cleaner or an air freshener?
A cleaner — not an air freshener. Solace No.1 cleans your cabin properly and leaves a soft, fresh scent as it does. That scent is meant to lift and drift away, not linger or build up. It's the feeling of a freshly cleaned car, not a fragrance that hangs around for days.
What surfaces can I use it on?
Leather, vinyl, alcantara, and interior trim. It can also be used on screens, glass, and dashboards — just apply it to the cloth first and wipe, rather than spraying directly onto those surfaces.
How do I use it?
Mist onto a clean microfibre cloth, wipe evenly across the surface, then buff to a soft finish. Avoid spraying directly onto screens or open vents — always apply to the cloth first for those.
How often should I use it?
Whenever your cabin needs it — a quick refresh, a wipe-down, or to clean up a spill. There's no set schedule; use it as often as feels right for you.
How long will one bottle last?
Each 300ml bottle contains enough for many uses. How long it lasts depends on how often you use it — used for regular refreshes and the occasional clean-up, a single bottle goes a long way.
The Scent
What does it smell like?
Solace No.1 is built like a fragrance, with three stages: it opens with grapefruit and lemon, settles into white florals and raspberry, and holds on a base of ambergris and musk. Fresh and sweet, never synthetic.
Will the scent last a long time?
No — and that's by design. Solace No.1 isn't an air freshener. The scent is a light finish to the clean that drifts away rather than lingering, so your cabin smells genuinely fresh rather than heavily perfumed. If you'd like that just-cleaned feeling again, simply use it again.
Is the scent strong or overpowering?
No. It's soft and clean rather than heavy — a subtle freshness in the moment that fades naturally. No synthetic car-scent smell, no lingering perfume. Just a clean cabin.

Is it safe?
Yes. Solace No.1 is pH balanced, streak-free, and made without harsh solvents. Always test on a small, hidden area before first use, and avoid contact with eyes.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Yes — it's safe to use in a car that children and pets travel in. As with any cleaning product, keep the bottle out of reach of children and store it safely.
Will it leave streaks?
No — Solace No.1 is designed to wipe on and buff off to a clean, streak-free finish across your interior surfaces.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Where do you ship?
We ship Australia-wide via Australia Post. We don't currently offer international shipping.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery is generally 2–6 business days and Express 1–3, depending on your location.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking details by email so you can follow its journey.
What if my parcel is lost or hasn't arrived?
If your parcel is lost in transit, we'll arrange a replacement or refund once confirmed. If tracking shows it as delivered but you haven't received it, contact us as soon as possible and we'll help resolve it promptly.
Returns & Refunds
What's your return policy?
Because Solace No.1 is a scented liquid, we can only accept change-of-mind returns on unopened bottles within 30 days of delivery. If anything arrives faulty or damaged, we'll always make it right.
My order arrived damaged or faulty — what do I do?
Contact us straight away at help@hartcabin.com and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
How long do refunds take?
Once your return is received and processed, your refund is issued to your original payment method. Please allow 3–5 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank.
